The Information Services Department operates through specialised divisions dedicated to public relations, access to information, national research, and civic education. Together, we ensure transparent and effective communication between the Government of Ghana and its citizens.
Access to Information Division
ATIFacilitates the Right to Information (RTI) Act implementation across public institutions, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Research Division
RDGathers public feedback, conducts surveys, and provides data-driven insights to inform government policy and communication strategies.
Public Education Coordinating Division
PECDDesigns and executes nationwide sensitization campaigns to educate citizens on government policies and national initiatives.
Media & Publications Division
MPDProduces official government publications, manages media relations, and oversees digital content dissemination.
Administration & HR
AdminEnsures the smooth operational functioning of the department, managing human capital, logistics, and internal policies.

Beyond our headquarters, the ISD operates through a robust network of 16 Regional Offices and 232 District Offices, ensuring government information reaches every community in Ghana.
