National Ambulance Service Restores Two More Ambulances to Operational Readiness
The National Ambulance Service (NAS) has restored two more constituency ambulances to operational readiness, strengthening emergency medical response in Domeabra-Obom and Weija-Gbawe.
The ambulances have been repaired and are currently at the Service’s headquarters, ready for deployment to their respective constituencies to resume emergency response duties.
The repairs are part of Operation Restore Fleet, an initiative aimed at returning non-operational ambulances to service and improving the availability of emergency medical care across the country.
Through the initiative, NAS is working to strengthen its fleet, improve operational efficiency, and ensure that more communities have access to timely pre-hospital emergency care.
The restoration of the two ambulances is expected to boost emergency response capacity in the beneficiary constituencies, helping the Service respond more effectively to medical emergencies when every second counts.
NAS says the initiative remains a key part of its efforts to get more ambulances back on the road and extend life-saving emergency services to communities across Ghana.
