Office of the Registrar of Companies takes Business Registration drive to Kasoa

The Office of the Registrar of Companies (ORC) will take its Business Registration and Sensitization Clinic to Kasoa from July 20 to July 24, 2026, offering entrepreneurs and business owners the opportunity to register and renew their businesses while receiving free advisory services.
The five-day outreach programme forms part of the Office’s nationwide campaign to bring business registration services closer to the public and encourage more businesses, particularly those in the informal sector, to formalise their operations.
The services will be available at the Old Market under the Flyover on July 20, 21 and 24, while the New Market forecourt of the I See Building will host the clinic on July 22 and 23. Activities will run daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Through this exercise, Business owners will be able to complete on the spot registration, renew existing business registrations and receive guidance on business compliance and other services offered by the Office.
According to the Office of the Registrar of Companies, the outreach programme is intended to make registration services more accessible while educating entrepreneurs on the benefits of operating legally registered businesses.
“Get on the spot business registration, renew your business, and access free business advisory services”, the Office announced.
Prospective applicants have been advised to present a Ghana Card, Tax Identification Number (TIN), GPS address, residential and business addresses, as well as a proposed business name to complete the registration process. Those seeking to renew their registrations are required to bring a copy of their Business Registration Certificate.
The Kasoa clinic follows similar outreach exercises organised by the Office across the country as part of efforts to improve compliance with Ghana’s business registration laws and create an environment that supports business growth.
The Office has encouraged entrepreneurs, traders and small business owners in Kasoa and surrounding communities to take advantage of the exercise to formalise their businesses and access the benefits associated with registered enterprises.
