Volta Region Road Works Lead Big Push Programme

The Minister for Roads and Highways, Governs Kwame Agbodza, has disclosed that the rehabilitation of the Penyi–Denu Road stands out as the flagship achievement of the government’s Big Push infrastructure programme.
The project, according to him, has now reached 75.68% complete and is poised to be the first fully delivered under the initiative.
Speaking during President John Dramani Mahama’s inspection tour of ongoing works in the Volta Region on Thursday, Mr. Agbodza stated the importance of the project, noting that it will greatly enhance connectivity and spur economic activity once completed.
He further reported steady progress on the Kpetoe–Ave Afiadenyigba Road (Lot 7), which has reached 45% completion.
He was positive that both projects would improve connectivity and boost economic activity in the region upon completion.
