CSA Director-General Urged UPSA Graduates to Develop the Right Attitude for Success
The Director-General of the Cyber Security Authority (CSA), Dr Divine Selase Agbeti, has urged graduating students of the University of Professional Studies, Accra to develop the right attitude and mindset to achieve success in their careers.
Dr Agbeti gave the advice when he addressed graduands as a guest speaker at the 18th Congregation of the Faculty of Information Technology and Communication Studies of UPSA.
He said hard work, honesty, continuous learning and innovation were important for career growth, especially at a time of rapid technological advancement and the increasing influence of Artificial Intelligence.
The Director-General encouraged the graduates to see challenges as opportunities, uphold integrity and due process, take responsibility for their actions and remain committed to personal development.
He also advised them to seek mentorship and approach the world of work with a positive, growth-oriented, grateful, kind and passionate mindset.
According to Dr Agbeti, attitude plays a greater role in shaping a person’s career than academic achievements or awards.
“Always remember that your attitude will shape your career far more than the grades you have earned or the accolades you have received,” he advised.
