CSA Educates Akosombo International School Students on Online Safety
The Cyber Security Authority (CSA), in collaboration with the Ghana Chamber of Telecommunications, MTN Ghana and Telecel Ghana, has engaged students of Akosombo International School on online safety as part of activities marking the 2026 National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM).
The sensitisation programme focused on key cyber threats affecting young people, including cyberbullying, online grooming, digital footprints and mobile money fraud.
Students were educated on practical measures to protect themselves in the digital space, including safeguarding personal information, verifying suspicious messages and securing their online accounts.
The participants were also encouraged to speak up when confronted with online threats and to report cyber incidents through the CSA short code 292.
The outreach forms part of ongoing efforts by the Cyber Security Authority and its partners to promote safe and responsible use of digital technologies among young people and strengthen cybersecurity awareness across the country.
