• 1 MIN READ

World Vision Ghana has donated educational materials and information technology equipment worth GH¢280,125 to schools in the Agortime-Ziope District to improve teaching and learning, particularly at the kindergarten level.

The donation forms part of a broader intervention valued at GH¢356,015, which includes educational and medical equipment to support children’s learning and well-being.

The educational items presented include 125 kindergarten chairs, 41 tables, 20 desktop computers, two laptops, four mini-projectors and two sets of play equipment.

The presentation ceremony was attended by the Member of Parliament for Agortime-Ziope, Mr Charles Agbeve; the District Chief Executive, Mr Alfred E. Odikro; the Programmes Manager for the Agortime Cluster of World Vision Ghana, Mr Eric Opoku Agyarko; and other stakeholders.

The intervention is expected to improve access to learning resources and strengthen the use of technology in teaching, while providing young learners with a more supportive learning environment.

The partnership also highlights the role of development organisations in supporting education and child welfare in local communities across the Volta Region.
