Prestea-Huni Valley MCE Engages Mining Firms on Bogoso Road Plans
The Prestea-Huni Valley Municipal Assembly has engaged mining companies and their road contractors to advance plans for inner-city roads and a bypass in Bogoso to ease traffic congestion and improve movement within the town.
The meeting, led by the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Mr Matthew Ayeh, brought together stakeholders operating in the Prestea and Bogoso enclaves to discuss ways to address the town’s road challenges.
The proposed projects are expected to improve accessibility for residents, traders and motorists while reducing congestion within Bogoso.
As part of the outcome of the meeting, a committee has been established to undertake preliminary work and make the necessary preparations towards the proposed road projects.
The engagement forms part of the Assembly’s efforts to collaborate with mining companies and other stakeholders to address infrastructure challenges and improve transport conditions in the municipality.
When implemented, the proposed road improvements are expected to facilitate movement within Bogoso and support commercial activities and the daily activities of residents.
