The Minister for Communication, Digital Technology & Innovation, Mr. Samuel Nartey George, and a delegation from the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) have reaffirmed their commitment to advancing collaboration that enhances innovation, knowledge sharing, and regional cooperation.
The announcement was made on Wednesday during a courtesy call by the ECOWAS delegation, which aimed to strengthen partnerships in digital innovation and regional development.
Minister George emphasized Ghana’s dedication to building solutions that benefit the wider West African community.
He highlighted the importance of driving digital transformation initiatives and creating opportunities for young people across the region.
The ECOWAS delegation expressed appreciation for the Ministry’s continued support and leadership in regional programmes, including the ongoing hackathon initiative.
The meeting concluded with a shared resolve to deepen cooperation and explore new opportunities for regional engagement and impact.
