Minister Agbodza Inspects Atimpoku–Asikuma Road Under Big Push Agenda

The Minister of Roads and Highways, Mr. Kwame Governs Agbodza has just inspected the Atimpoku – Asikuma Junction Road as part of the BIG PUSH Agenda
He examined these roads (Km 0+000 – 17+500) as part of his 2-day working tour of the Volta, Oti and Eastern Regions which are going through rehabilitation currently.
The aim of the Big Push Agenda is to address venerable infrastructure gaps and fast-track national development. The project started in December 2025 and it’s expected to be completed in December 2027.
The Ongoing project inspected by the Minister of Roads and Highways is being done by Messrs USSUYA (Ghana) Ltd and it is 32.2 % complete.
The Work percentage completed includes drainage, road widening, and pavement layers.
The Minister expressed satisfaction with the progress of work and urged the contractor to maintain the pace to meet the December 2027 completion target.
