Two New Members Join NCA Board

The Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, Samuel Nartey George, has sworn in two new members of the Governing Board of the National Communications Authority (NCA).
The new appointees are Prof. Agyapomaa Gyeke-Dako, Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Ghana Business School, and Alhaji Abdul-Rauf Tanko Ibrahim, Chairman of the Hajj Board and former Member of Parliament for the Yagaba-Kubori Constituency.
They replaced two late members of the Board, bringing fresh expertise and perspectives to the Authority’s leadership.
Mr George noted that the appointments form part of the government’s broader efforts to ensure the NCA remains well-positioned to promote innovation, effective regulation, and the continued growth of Ghana’s communications and digital technology sector.
He stated that the strengthened Board will provide strategic oversight at a time when digital transformation is reshaping the country’s economy and society.
