1 MIN READ

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has successfully repatriated a Ghanaian citizen, Barosky, from Manchester in the United Kingdom to Ghana, following concerns over his plight.

In a social media post, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, stated that the Ministry fully sponsored his repatriation and has also commenced psychosocial support and reintegration financial assistance to help him settle back into the country.

The Ministry commended Nana Romeo for bringing Barosky’s situation to its attention, while commending the Ghana High Commission in the UK for coordinating the repatriation.

It reaffirmed its commitment to protecting the welfare of Ghanaians abroad, adding that it would continue to “leave no Ghanaian behind.”
