Ghana Is Ready for Business – President Mahama

President John Dramani Mahama has declared that Ghana is ready for business, as he rang the closing bell at the NASDAQ Stock Exchange in New York and invited the global business community to take advantage of the investment opportunities available in the country.

The President’s appearance at NASDAQ formed part of his engagements with the international business community on the sidelines of the 81st United Nations General Assembly.

Speaking at the ceremony, President Mahama said Ghana had taken steps to improve the investment environment and was ready to work with businesses seeking opportunities in the country.

“Ghana is ready for business,” he said.

The President’s message came as Ghana seeks to attract more private investment into productive sectors of the economy, including agriculture, manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, technology, mining, health and pharmaceuticals.
