The Minister for Interior, Mr. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, has stated that enhanced collaboration and knowledge exchange between countries contribute significantly to strengthening the capacity of their respective security institutions.
He stated this when a delegation from Jordan, led by Mr. Mo’ath Alzo’bi, Director of Political Affairs at the Office of His Royal Majesty King Abdullah II, paid a courtesy call on him on Monday.
The meeting focused on enhancing collaboration in key security areas, including counterterrorism, intelligence sharing, and capacity building for security services
The Minister said the government is committed to promoting stronger partnerships with Jordan in the areas of security and intelligence cooperation.
The Jordanian delegation also expressed its readiness to work closely with Ghana to promote shared security objectives and advance cooperation in counterterrorism and other strategic areas of mutual interest.
The discussions emphasized the mutual commitment of both countries to expanding cooperation in response to evolving security threats while supporting regional and international peace and stability.
