CSA Hosts National Cyber Drill to Strengthen Response to AI-Enabled Threats

• 1 MIN READ

The Cyber Security Authority (CSA), in partnership with Double0Sec and with support from E-CUBE Technologies, has organised the 2026 National Cyber Drill to strengthen Ghana’s preparedness and response to AI-enabled cyber threats.

Held under the theme, “Building Trust Through Collaboration and Cyber Resilience – AI for Offence and Defence,” the exercise brought together sectoral computer emergency response teams, licensed Managed Cybersecurity Service Providers, accredited cybersecurity establishments and other key stakeholders.

The drill, now in its fourth edition, provided participants with practical exercises designed to enhance their ability to detect, assess and respond to emerging cyber threats.

Through sessions led by Double0Sec, participants explored tools and techniques aimed at building resilience against the growing use of artificial intelligence in cyber-attacks and defence.

The Deputy Director-General for Technical Operations at the CSA, Stephen Cudjoe-Seshie, said the exercise offered an opportunity to assess the effectiveness of national coordination arrangements in responding to cyber incidents.

He noted that the drill also helped strengthen trust-based relationships among institutions and stakeholders responsible for protecting Ghana’s digital ecosystem.
