The Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Abla Dzifa Gomashie, has held discussions with the French Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Diarra Dimé-Labille, on strengthening cooperation in the creative arts and cultural sectors.

The meeting focused on opportunities to create international exposure for Ghanaian creatives, strengthen institutional partnerships and unlock the economic potential of the creative arts industry.

Mrs Gomashie and the Ambassador also explored opportunities for artist mentorship and collaboration aimed at supporting the growth of Ghana’s creative sector.

The discussions further examined the revival of Ghana’s cocoa tourism trail, drawing inspiration from France’s wine tourism model as a means of expanding tourism offerings and creating economic opportunities.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to using cultural diplomacy and the creative industries to promote collaboration, generate jobs and drive sustainable economic growth.
