Ghana to Host Africa Festival of Arts, Culture and Creatives, Industrial Skills Week Africa 2026
Ghana will host the Africa Festival of Arts, Culture and Creatives (AFESTAC) 2026 and Industrial Skills Week Africa (ISWA) 2026 in Accra from December 9 to 12, 2026.
The events, which are supported by the African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD), will bring together stakeholders from across the continent to celebrate Africa’s cultural heritage and promote the creative economy
The programmes will also focus on creating employment opportunities for young people and supporting skills development across various sectors.
The Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Abla Dzifa Gomashie, has called on corporate Ghana, the media and the general public to support the initiative through partnerships, sponsorships and active participation.
According to the Minister, broad stakeholder support will be important to the success of the events and their contribution to the growth of Africa’s cultural and creative sectors.
