Deputy Works and Housing Minister Calls for GREDA Expansion Beyond Southern Ghana
The Deputy Minister for Works, Housing and Water Resources, Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui, has called on the Ghana Real Estate Developers Association (GREDA) to expand its activities beyond southern Ghana to benefit people in other parts of the country.
She made the call when she joined GREDA at the launch of its 2026 Housing Fair, which is scheduled to take place later this year.
According to the Deputy Minister, expanding GREDA’s activities across the country would help address regional disparities in housing while stimulating local economies.
Mrs Tetteh-Agbotui also reiterated the government’s readiness to partner with GREDA through policy support, financing and innovative housing solutions to provide decent, affordable and sustainable housing for Ghanaians.
She described GREDA as a key stakeholder in Ghana’s housing and real estate sector and said collaboration between government and industry players remained important in addressing the country’s housing needs.
