Kwadaso MCE Inspects Reshaping Works on Tanoso–Topre Road

• 1 MIN READ

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Kwadaso, Mr Eric Asibey, on Tuesday inspected ongoing reshaping works on the Tanoso–Topre Road to assess progress and ensure the effective execution of the project.

The reshaping works are being undertaken by the Municipal Urban Roads Department, using machinery deployed under the District Road Improvement Programme (DRIP).

The Tanoso–Topre Road serves as a vital link for farming communities, schoolchildren and traders who depend on it to access market centres and neighbouring towns. However, the road had deteriorated significantly due to erosion, making it almost impassable, particularly during the rainy season.

Residents and motorists in the area have expressed gratitude to the MCE and the Municipal Assembly for the intervention. They noted that the reshaping works would improve accessibility, reduce travel time, enhance road safety and minimise vehicle maintenance costs.

Mr Asibey was accompanied on the inspection by the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr Francis Adu-Boateng; the Municipal Planning Officer, Mr Isaac Kyeremateng; the Municipal Urban Roads Engineer, Mr Michael Otu Amoah; the Internal Auditor, Hajia Hanatu Sumaila; the Transport Officer, Mr Joseph Asiedu; Mr Affi Emmanuel of the Works Department; and other staff of the Assembly.
