Offinso North Assembly Supports 30 BECE Graduates with Educational Items

The Offinso North District Assembly in the Ashanti Region has supported 30 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) graduates with school trunks, chop boxes, exercise books and cash prizes.

Presenting the items to the beneficiaries, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Offinso North, Mr Caesar Ofosu Acheampong, urged the students to make good use of the opportunity and remain focused and committed to their studies.

He noted that the students’ academic achievements had brought honour to the district and expressed the hope that they would sustain and build on their performance at the Senior High School (SHS) level.

Mr Acheampong further encouraged the beneficiaries to uphold discipline and demonstrate good conduct in their interactions with their colleagues, teachers and members of their communities.

He emphasised that good character was an essential component of their overall development and urged the students to complement their academic pursuits with values that would positively shape their future.

The DCE expressed the hope that the district would, in the years ahead, take pride in the beneficiaries as they excelled in their chosen fields and returned to contribute meaningfully to the development of their communities.

He also appealed to parents to continue supporting their wards by providing the necessary guidance and a conducive environment for them to concentrate on their education.

The beneficiaries expressed their appreciation to the Assembly for the gesture, describing the support as timely, encouraging and motivating.
