NHIA Urges Oti Region to Close Membership Gap

• 1 MIN READ

The National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) has urged its Oti Regional Office to intensify membership enrolment efforts to meet its annual target before the end of the year.

The Director of Membership and Regional Operations, Sabastian Alagpulinsa, made the call during a working visit to the region, urging staff to adopt practical strategies and monitor district performance daily.

He expressed confidence that the target remained achievable within the 53 working days left in the year and directed focal persons to ensure that districts consistently met their daily enrolment targets.

The Oti Regional Director of the NHIA, Julius Nelimor, said the region’s performance as of September was below that of the same period last year.

He said district offices had been tasked to intensify enrolment activities and submit work plans outlining measures to achieve their annual targets.

Mr Nelimor added that the regional office was supporting the districts through contact updates and field activities to boost membership and improve performance.
