ORC to Offer Instant Business Registration Services at 2026 Civil Service Policy Fair
The Office of the Registrar of Companies (ORC) will provide on-the-spot business registration, business renewal and free business advisory services at the 2026 Civil Service Policy Fair.
The fair is scheduled to take place at the Accra Sports Stadium from August 10 to 13 August 2026.
The four-day event, which will run daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m, will bring together public sector institutions to engage citizens and provide direct access to government services.
As part of its participation, the ORC will operate a registration booth where entrepreneurs, business owners and prospective investors can register new businesses, renew existing business registrations and receive professional guidance on regulatory and compliance requirements without visiting the Registrar of Companies’ offices.
According to the ORC, the fair presents an opportunity to bring essential business services closer to the public.
“The Civil Service Policy Fair allows us to interact directly with business owners and the general public. Visitors can complete their business registration or renewal on site while receiving free advisory services from our officers,” it noted.
The ORC encouraged entrepreneurs, startups and owners of small and medium enterprises to take advantage of the exercise to regularise their businesses and seek advice on issues relating to business registration and compliance.
“We want people to leave the fair having completed transactions that would ordinarily require a visit to our offices. Our team will be available throughout the event to assist and answer questions,” it said.
The ORC has asked visitors to stop by its registration booth during the fair to access the services and obtain information on business registration procedures.
The Civil Service Policy Fair is expected to attract thousands of participants, including public servants, private sector operators, students and members of the public, offering them the opportunity to interact with various government institutions and learn about policies and services available to citizens.
